Did one of the most annoying dungeons im HM with this team setup, well its an annoying one for me, Ooze pit. Worked great, no deaths untill i flagged my heroes too far while tanking the endbosses. I cant do it as good as efgjack yet, and I doubt I ever will, but getting better at it

This build was for 3H+4 henchmen and all of the hero builds are tailored to support a warrior and a certain way of playing the game, so you're probably better off with something that helps you as a ranged attacker. And I haven't had the chance to update this thread to 7H level yet as I've been busy with other stuff in-game.

Yes, it will function exactly the same but it will be slightly sub-par to a warrior build. However you can do up to and including DoA NM with it so its fair

Run something like 12 sword, 10 leadership, 8 command.

Sun and moon slash
WW attack
YMLAD
100b ---or---- Focused anger
There is nothing to fear
Stand your ground ----or----GFTE for energy management
Save yourselves
Aggressive refrain

Now here is for the tricky party. it will require even more micromanagement compared to a warrior because you will need to watch out for:

Shout rolling on your main: Alternate between There is nothing to fear and stand your ground (easy)
Save yourselves and Melee attacks togather with GFTE for energy management
Making sure you don't lose Aggressive refrain
making sure party members are within shout range while tanking mobs(which is the most challenging tbh)

I have tried this build in action, with the same exact hero setup as my warrior uses (2x mes, smite monk, SoS healer rit, ST rit, UA monk, ER prot) and the results were quite interesting. I had to drop the ER prot from my para in favour of more deeps. This is because by nature the para is way more defense focused and offers better buffs compared to the warrior.

Whether you choose another smite monk, or another command para is up to you.

Just give it a try, it is hella fun and a nice change from being a SY spam bot. Remember most content can easily be cleared with unrunned heroes using suboptimal builds.

Note: Most of your dmg will come from splinter, Ancestral rage and RoJ so don't worry too much about losing the strength bonus the warrior has. Aggressive refrain is more fun once you have it up tbh

Ofc you can run it on any class as X/W or /D now with VoS change. For a second I thought he meant he'd be playing as ranged. Anyway, for general play with 7H (no mercs I assume) I recommend 2 ROJ monks (BS/SOH), Dark Fury nec with redbarring and melee buffs (Weaken Armor/Mark of Fury/Mark of Pain), A Healer, SoS for Splinter & anc rage and 2 domi mesmers (Surge, Shatter Hex, etc etc).

I'll get around posting exact bars and variations once I'm done with my current project!
